Over the course of five days in the spring of 2010, I photographed every single airplane that I encountered throughout my usual commute and daily activities. They were captured quickly, using a small point-and-shoot digital camera, then substantially cropped to remove any context while openly embracing the vernacular qualities of the medium. At the end of the five days, my path had intersected with 208 aircraft, an estimated 20,000 passengers, and 104 tons of air cargo.
